Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 August 2026

These terms govern your use of Vocra (“the Service”), a platform for building and running voice AI agents. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The service

Vocra provides orchestration software: a dashboard for configuring voice agents, a realtime voice server, and APIs. Vocra does not provide the underlying speech recognition, language model, speech synthesis or telephony services. You connect your own accounts with those providers and remain their customer, bound by their terms and responsible for their charges.

2. Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account, for keeping your credentials and Vocra access tokens secret, and for the accuracy of your account details. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record and handles payment and applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals and keeps your access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Plans include unlimited call minutes on your own provider keys and your own carrier, and limit the number of simultaneous sessions and agents as described on the pricing page. We may adjust prices with at least 30 days’ notice; changes never affect a period you have already paid for.

Calls, text messages and emails carried by Vocra’s own phone numbers and sending domain are metered. Each paid plan includes a monthly allowance, stated on the pricing page; when it is used up the service stops there unless you have explicitly enabled overage. If you enable overage, usage beyond the allowance is charged in arrears at the published rates, call minutes are rounded up to the next whole minute, and those charges are not refundable once the usage has occurred. Allowances are per calendar month and do not carry over, whichever billing interval you are on. Additional Vocra phone numbers beyond your plan’s included count are charged monthly for as long as you hold them.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Place calls that violate telemarketing, robocall, or consent laws in any jurisdiction you call into.
  • Impersonate a real person or organisation, or conceal that the caller is an AI where disclosure is required.
  • Record or transcribe conversations without the consent required by the applicable law.
  • Harass, defraud, or deceive call recipients.
  • Attempt to breach, overload, or reverse engineer the Service or circumvent plan limits.

You are solely responsible for the content of your agents’ conversations and for complying with the law wherever you make or receive calls. We may suspend accounts that put the platform or its users at legal risk.

Consent for contacts you upload. When you upload a contact list, or configure an agent to text or email the people it speaks to, you warrant that you have the consent those recipients’ laws require for the messages you are sending — including prior express written consent where marketing text messages need it. Vocra records opt-outs and honours them permanently on your behalf, and blocks messages to an address that has opted out; that is a backstop, not a substitute for having consent in the first place.

Text messaging through a Vocra number additionally requires completing carrier registration (10DLC), which asks you to describe your use case and how recipients consented. Those statements are made to the carriers, not to us, and must be accurate. Sending is disabled until registration is approved.

5. Your data

You own your agent configurations and call transcripts. We process them to operate the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Provider API keys are encrypted at rest and used only to run your sessions.

6. Availability and disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and much of the call quality depends on third-party providers and networks outside our control. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Vocra’s total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or provider charges you incur.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination your access ends and your data is deleted according to our retention policy.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in the dashboard. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.

10. Who we are

Vocra is operated by an independent developer, not a registered company. Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our merchant of record — Paddle is the seller for your purchase and is responsible for billing, tax and refund processing.
